WOODS CUP WINNER ROGER RAATGEVER NOW OFF SINGLE FIGURES

In pursuit of a single figure handicap Roger Raatgever (11) has been having lessons with club pro Charlie Simpson and he submitted a supplementary score having shot an eight over par 80 in a midweek warm-up off the white tees. This helped trigger an ESR (exceptional scoring reduction) on Saturday when he won the Woods Cup with a 77, nett 64, after the two shot white tees adjustment. Hence, Raatgever now finds himself in the top twenty-five percent of the world's golfers holding handicaps with his new low of 8.9.
