Payment

The vast majority of teams have paid the required entry fees already. Should you have not, please be aware that we require advanced payment and prior to the day.

Payment can be made either by bank transfer (details HERE) or via telephone to the Pro Shop giving appropriate card details. 

Visiting players cost is £40 pp please. Withdrawals within 7 days of the competition date & no-shows are not entitled to a refund of their fees.

Rules

Maximum Course Handicap ALL players = 18

Ladies to receive additional +1.15 shots each (+4.6 team) incorporated automatically in the background calculation.

Standard 25/20/15/10% of Course Handicap from lowest to highest player. Team Handicap (rounded full integer) detailed on sheet and highlighted yellow.

Scoring is Gross. Total at the end and subtract Team Handicap.

Minimum 4 tee shots each

Record score at each hole under the column of players tee-shot used

Placing on fairways, surrounds and tightly mown areas.

Knee-drop within one-club length in semi, primary rough & bunkers

Order of play at your discretion, no rule, especially if it keeps play moving.

Please be aware that teams tied on the same nett score will have positions determined by countback just as with any other competition.

The white posts running between the 1st & 18th holes denote internal OOB but ONLY applicable for play on the 18th hole.

Please repair your pitchmarks and sand your divots

Input

All teams are kindly asked to please input their team gross score into the system using the technology provided. Members have the choice of App or PSI.

Visiting teams should please seek out the PSI present in each locker-room, inputting one player's 10-digit CDH id to login and entering the gross score at each hole.

Prizes

Please be advised, physical prizes, selected by the Pro Shop team will be awarded to the two teams with the lowest Nett score.

Please note, other than glove sizing, prizes may not be exchanged or returned.

All prizes may be collected from the Pro Shop at your convenience once final results have been published.

Additional spot prizes are being offered as follows and kindly donated by an anonymous member.

NTP - 8th, 13th & 16th par 3's

Longest Drive - 5th (must be on fairway and first ball!!)

Raffle's!

There will be two optional raffle's all players are welcome to take part in.

The Salt & Swing weekly Cake Raffle tickets are just 50p per ticket (no limit) and available both in the Pro Shop and upstairs at the Bar (cash only upstairs please). The winning ticket drawn at random on the day (approximately 12 midday) will win a delicious homemade Guinness inspired cake, lovingly prepared by Dave Evans.

The Pro Shop team will be running a further raffle with an opportunity to win a fantastic, Castletown crested TaylorMade stand bag! Tickets are available at £5 each with a maximum of 2 tickets per person please. Cash, card or account (members only). This will operate from Friday 14th to Monday 17th with the draw taking place Tuesday 18th.

• The Bar will be open between 8am and 5pm
  
  
• The kitchen will be open from 8:30am until 3pm
  
  
• The kitchen will be offering all golfers a bacon bap & hot drink of your choice at only £5.
  
  
• A lunch special of Irish stew (beef) is available to all at £10. With limited portions available, offered on a first come, first served basis.
  
  
• There will be no bacon bap service offered on the course.
